Site work and paving for a road / highway in Albany, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The Lee Township Board of Trustees will be accepting bids for Chip Seal.The estimated time frame for this project to begin is August. The purposed project will consist of 7 miles of township roadway. Roads includes are as follows: Mill Street, David Lane, Vivian, Jellico, Glenfinnan Drive, Ben Nevis, Trout, McVey, Crabtree, Dailey, Spring Valley, Chesser, Highland Drive, Dale Road, Saw Mill, Ennis and Fire Department Lane. Constriction Details: Asphalt Emulsions, Fog seal and Aggregate shall be placed on the surface of the roadway with Computer Controlled applica- tion equipment on both the Distributor and the Chip Spread- er. The material shall be applied "Full Width" on the Driving Surface at the widths specified up to 20' Wide. The road will be closed to traffic during work hours but must allow access for emergency vehicles and local residents as needed with the use of flaggers. Materials: All road surfaces shall be swept prior to the Single Chip Seal and again before application of the Fog Seal. A minimum of two (2) pneumatic tired rollers shall be used for compaction. AGGREGATE: #8 LIMESTONE #8's LBS/SY will Furnished and loaded on Contractor's dump Trucks by Lee Township em- ployees from the Lee Township Garage located at 2013 Mill Street Albany, Ohio 45710 EMULSION: RS-2 @ 40 GAL/SY TRACKLESS FOG SEAL @.12 GAL/SY Single Chip Seal to be priced by the Square Yard Fog Seal to be priced by the Gallon
