Site work and new construction of a municipal facility in Sparta, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the construction of a 4,772-square-foot, one-story above grade municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.

Submit questions not less than 7 days before date set for receipt of Bids. Replies will be made by Addenda. D. Addenda may be issued during bidding period. Addenda will be sent to known Bidders. Addenda become part of the Contract Documents. Include resultant costs in the Bid Sum. General Requirements a) All proposed systems must exceed code minimum requirements. Design-Build subcontractors shall participate in design coordination meetings with the MEP design team to evaluate options with the owner. b) The Design-Build subcontractor for each scope of work shall be responsible for designing a complete system that is fully coordinated with other building elements and systems. c) Costs shall include: i) Design coordination meetingsrequired for integration of complete system with other building elements and systems. ii) Design services for entire scope of work iii) Plan review fees as applicable to the scope of work iv) All materials and installation costs for complete system d) Exterior storm sewer system and site utilities to within 5 feet of the building shall be provided by others under separate agreement with the owner. e) New brine system and air compressor system shall be added to building. i) Cost of MEP rough in for these systems (electrical connection, water supply and drains, air exhaust, etc.) shall be included in the base bid. ii) Do not include cost of these systems in the Base Bid. iii) Scope of requirements for new system shall be determined during design. 2) Mechanical (HVAC) a) Vehicle Storage Space (101): i) Base bid: Infrared tube heating (natural gas) and ventilation meeting code requirements at a minimum for Vehicle Storage area. ii) Alternate 1 bid: Provide an alternate cost for providing heat using infloor tube system b) Toilet Rooms (102, 103): i) Heating and ventilation to exceed code requirements for toilet rooms. c) Mechanical (104): i) Heating and ventilation to exceed code requirements for mechanical room. 3) Electrical Systems a) Exterior/General i) 3-Phase Electrical service to be provided to building under separate agreement with the owner. MEP design team shall coordinate with the owner for service sizing requirements and location. ii) Provide power and receptacles for code minimum requirements and for all equipment to be included in the building as indicated by the owner. iii) Provide wall mounted dark sky compliant LED lights on all exterior walls: nine (9) minimum (1) Control lights above egress doors with photocell on, timer off (2) Control all other exterior lights (over overhead doors and between windows high on the wall) with an internal light switch near door 101H. (3) Provide LED high-bay, wash down rated, or sealed lights. iv) No pole mounted lights are included in this project b) Vehicle Storage Space (101): i) Conventional power meeting code requirements at a minimum for Vehicle Storage Space. At a minimum, include power receptacles at locations noted on the plans. Verify location with the owner during construction. ii) Power receptacles for standard convenience. Power for other building systems as required. iii) Provide additional power drops as needed for Owner equipment. Base Bid: (4) receptacles with retractable reel drop cords, 120V, 20 amp, 110 plug. iv) General High Bay LED sealed lighting fixtures at approximately 15i on center with switch controls. v) Power for other MEP systems (heat, ventilation, etc.) vi) Power for overhead doors vii) Power for Brine system and air compressor system. viii) Security and access system, data cabling for networking and telephone access: Not included in the base bid. To be provided by others under separate agreement with the owner c) Toilet Rooms & Mechanical (102, 103, 104): i) Power as required for code requirements and other MEP systems (heat, ventilation, water heating, etc.). ii) LED lighting controlled by motion sensors.
