The City is looking to receive submissions from qualified respondents to supply, deliver and install two new columbaria. One at the Coboconk Cemetery located at 70 Albert Street, Coboconk, ON and one at the Janetville Cemetery located at 595 Janetville Road, Janetville, ON. The City will have the option to extend the contract for three additional one year terms to cover any additional columbaria required over the next several years. This Request for Proposals (the "RFP") is an invitation by The Corporation of the City of Kawartha Lakes ("the City") to prospective Proponents to submit proposals for RFP 2023-72-CP Supply and Installation of Columbaria, for the provision of all design, labour, equipment and materials necessary, as further described in Appendix C of the RFP Particulars. A minimum of two conceptual design options, per location, to maximize space at each location are requested to be submitted ads part of this RFP. Designs are to incorporate existing columbarium (at Coboconk), proposed columbarium and options for additions for future consideration. Columbarium design at the Coboconk location is to Compliment, not match the existing columbarium on site. Existing columbarium at Coboconk has a granite dakota mahogany niche front. Budget: $30,000 Columbarium design options at the Janetville location to maximize space between the driveway, existing columbarium and closest interments are requested as part of this RFP.
