Renovation of an educational facility in New York, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Liquidated Damages: Three Thousand ($3,000) Dollars per Continuous Calendar Day. Performance Period: 910 Continuous Calendar Days. A Bid Bond along with its Power Attorney prepared on the form attached to the Construction Contract Certified Check of the Bidder for five (5%) percent of the Bid Amount must accompany the Lump Sum Bid Form. Immediately upon receipt of Notice of Intent to Award Letter/Signature Page to the Construction Contract, the successful Bidder shall furnish to the SCA and maintain during the term of the contract, at its own cost and expense a Construction Performance Bond in an amount at least equal to one hundred (100%) percent of the contract price as security for faithful performance of the Contract; and a Labor and Material Payment Bond in an amount at least equal to one hundred (100%) percent of the Contract price for the payment of all persons performing labor on the project under the contract or furnishing materials in connection with the Contract. The surety on such bonds shall be a company listed on the Department of the Treasury's Listing of Approved Sureties, authorized to do business in the State of New York and approved by the SCA.
