Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Hamburg, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
As of October, 2023, the project has been completed, however, an exact timeline for construction has not been confirmed. The scope of the project includes: scarification of existing bridge deck and removal of unsound concrete; Type 1 and Type 2 repairs to sidewalk and deck, as directed; installation of latex modified concrete overlay; improvements to approaches on road and sidewalk. Questions shall be submitted online. There will be no pre-bid conference for the project. A certified check or bid bond for the amount of 10% of the total bid shall be required. Bonds are to be issued by a surety licensed to do business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The project is subject to the Prevailing Wage Act requirements. The successful Bidder shall substantially complete the project by September 22, 2023. The Borough of Hamburg reserves the right to accept any bid or reject any or all bids.
