Contractor shall provide all materials and labor to upgrade emergency eyewash/safety showers to comply with all current codes and federal regulations to deliver minimum 20 GPM of tepid water for 15-minute duration. Work may include, but not be limited to plumbing, electrical, pipe and electrical supports, firestopping, alarm wiring, patching, demolition, and disposal. Refer to site specific drawings for required work at each project site. All new work shall comply with the design and plans issued for the facility. The Contractor with the winning bid shall be the prime Contractor and responsible for all work. Contractor shall schedule a pre-construction meeting with the designer and project manager within 14 days of receipt of purchase order. Construction plans, details, and equipment will be discussed for each facility. Expected power or utility interruptions will be discussed. Prior to start of onsite work, all interruptions will be reviewed/scheduled with the facility manager. All questions must be submitted no later than June 12, 2023.
