Renovation of a fire / police facility in Chico, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
The Radio Division is looking for a qualified Vendor to provide and install a bi-directional amplifier (BDA) and related installation services up to and including BDA components, splitter, antennas, and cables that will support 700 and 800 MHZ P25 frequencies. The BDA is part of an Emergency Responder Radio Coverage System (ERRCS) which will enhance the portable radio coverage for the City of Chico Police and Fire Departments. Vendor will ensure the cabling meets the fire survivability standard per NFPA 72 2022 with a fire resistance rating that is equal to or greater than 2 hours, the installation shall provide a pathway survivability of Level 2 or Level 3. The donor antenna will be installed on the roof of the Chico Police Department building, located at 1460 Humboldt Road, Chico, CA 95928, with a clear sight to the tower location without interference from any surrounding antennas or transmitters.
