The location and description of the proposed work are as follows: The proposed work is located in the City of Glendale in Maricopa County on 67th Avenue beginning at Missouri Avenue and ending at Cholla Street. The total length of the project is approximately 5 miles. The work consists of the installation of bicycle facilities along 67th Avenue. The work includes signing & striping improvements; curb, gutter, median, and sidewalk modifications; signal modifications; and other related work. The time allowed for the completion of the work included in the Construction Phase of the contract will be 195 working days. The time allowed for the completion of the work included in the Landscape Establishment Phase of the contract will be 90 calendar days. The Arizona Department of Transportation, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, Disadvantaged Business Enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award.
