Site work for a water / sewer project in Wentzville, Missouri. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The construction of a new elevated water storage tank or ground storage tank in order to provide the City with a minimum 7.3 MG of total water storage to meet supply during peak demand months, year-round storage source for fire protection, and additional water storage during mechanical or equipment failure. Construction of large capacity (16-inch) transmission water main from existing main near Water Tower #3 located on Schroeder Creek Blvd. and continuing south along Schroeder Creek Blvd., under Interstate 70 through a bored casing, under railroad tracks through bored casing to connect with transmission main along Wilmer Road and then east on Interstate Drive to the future Public Works Facility site or nearby parcel along Interstate Drive. This transmission main will be necessary to support a new Water Tower. Project is included City of Wentzville Fiscal Year 2025-2029. As of April 24, 2025, project is funded for FY2025-2026. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
