The scope of work for this project involves the acquisition of miscellaneous construction materials to be used for improvements to Martha Burton Park. Bids must be enclosed in a sealed envelope plainly endorsed on the outside for MARTHA BURTON PARK and be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid, made payable to Nether Providence Township. Bidder's attention is called to all the requirements contained in this bid package, particularly to the Public Works Employment Verification Form, various insurance requirements, various equal opportunity provisions, the requirements for a payment bond for 100% of the contract price, requirements of a labor and materials bond for 100% of the contract price, requirements of a maintenance bond for 10% of the contract price. The Township reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids thereof, and waive any informalities in the bidding, as they deem in the interest of the Township.
