SR 520/I-5 To Montlake - I/C and Bridge Replacement Design-Build Project (Portage Bay Bridge), King County, WA Project Description: The SR 520 I-5 to Montlake- I/C and Bridge Replacement Project will replace the existing Portage Bay Bridge (WSDOT Bridge 520/3), with two new parallel box girder bridges across Portage Bay, replace off-ramps, replace overcrossings with new contiguous lid structure, relocate utilities, retaining walls, new landscaped bicycle and pedestrian crossing over I-5, shared-use trail on the new Portage Bay Bridge, and other multimodal improvements.
