General Requirements - Insurance Required TCVMD desires to drill one replacement well (AW-1) and one new well (AW-3) to supplement existing wells and water sources within their municipal water system. The proposed wells will be drilled within an existing right-of-way and near AW-1. The Colorado State Engineer forms (GWS-25 and GWS-31: AW-1) are provided as an Attachment to this RFP. Water rights data will be provided upon State Engineer approval. The proposed new wells are within 1,000 feet of each other, and the driller shall anticipate a similar completion for each well. The Driller shall note any exceptions/alternatives to the bid as presented below. The static water level at the current AW-1 is approximately 11 feet below ground surface (bgs) and at the time of its original completion, the pumping level (at 600 gpm) was approximately 20 feet. For the purpose of this bidding effort, please assume the following: The replacement wells shall be bid using the reverse rotary drilling rig. Mud rotary drilling may be bid as an alternate. Cable tool drilling methods (e.g., percussion drilling) will not be approved.
