The bidder shall promptly notify this contact of any errors, omissions, ambiguities, etc. in and among the Contract Docume Job Location Van Cortlandt Manor Site, 525 S. Riverside Ave, Croton-on-Hudson, NY 10520 The Project Owner is the Historic Hudson Valley, 639 Bedford Road, Pocantico Hills, NY. This project is a Locally Administered Federal Aid (LAFA) project. It is an infrastructure project being completed at Van Cortlandt Manor, a National Historic Landmark Site and home of the renowned Great Jack O'Lantern Blaze to improve traffic flow and visitor experience. The project is a reconstruction of Van Cortlandt Manors' entrance drive, entryway, and grounds infrastructure. The work will include asphalt pavement, masonry, utility improvements, vehicle gates, and a sanitary sewer pump station. The foregoing is a general outline of work only and shall not be construed as a complete description of the work to be performed under this contract. General Requirements - Bid Deposit Required - Certified Payroll - Contractors License Required - Federally Funded - Insurance Required - Prevailing Wage Required Project EEO Goals - 22.6% Minority, 6.9% Female Subcontracting Provisions: Federal DBE Goal = 10% Minority business sub-contracting goal: 0% Women-owned business sub-contracting goal: 0% The contract will be with the Sponsor (Village of Croton-on-Hudson), but the awarded contractor will be working closely with the Owner (Historic Hudson Valley). No work shall occur from August 1, 2024 through December 12, 2024. Final Completion date is 08/01/2025. Bonding Requirements - Bid Bond 5 % -- Bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Security of not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the Bid. Such Bid Security shall be submitted in the form of a Bid Bond only (no certified checks made payable to the Owner). The submission shall be made with the understanding that the Bid Security shall guarantee that the Bidder will not withdraw their Bid for a period of forty-five (45) days after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of Bids: and that if their Bid is accepted, will enter into a formal contract with the Sponsor in accordance with the Form of Agreement; and that the required Performance and Payment Bond and insurances will be given; and that in the event of the withdrawal of said Bid within the said period of the failure to enter said Contract and give said bonds within ten (10) days after they have received notice of acceptance of the Bid, the Bidder shall be liable to the Owner for the full amount of the Bid Guarantee as liquidated damages to the Owner as a result of default of the Bidder.
