Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Vermontville, Michigan. Completed plans call for the construction of a playground / park / athletic field; for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
**As of February 27, 2024 project was awarded to Gordon Construction services, awarded amount is $381,561.45.** The project includes the construction of a new restroom building with electrical, water, and sanitary hookups, drinking fountain, playground structure, poured in place surfacing, playground edging, concrete sidewalk, pavilion electrical, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, HMA pavement, surface restoration. The date the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the Bidders date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. A pre-bid conference will not be held. Prevailing wages are required as part of this project. Contractors performing work on the project must comply with all requirements of 1976 PA 453 (Elliott-Larsen Civil Rights Act) and 1976 PA 220 (Persons with Disabilities Civil Rights Act), as amended. For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. The Village of Vermontville reserves the right to accept any bid, reject any or all bids, to waive informalities and make the award in any manner deemed in the best interest of the Village of Vermontville.
