Site work for a mixed-use development in Fort McMurray, Alberta. Completed plans call for site work for a religious / funeral development.
The Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo is seeking to engage a knowledgeable and qualified contractor for a greenspace restoration in Beaconhill and for the construction of a parking lot at Woodlawn Cemetery. Currently the Beaconhill site is a gravel laydown yard. The community has requested it be returned to its original state, a community greenspace. The site is located on Beaconhill Drive at the intersection of Beale Crescent. The Municipality wants to move the gravel from the Beaconhill site to the Woodlawn Cemetery site to develop a 20-car parking lot that includes demolishing a median planter and paving of the entrance at the gate. As it is the primary urban burial site in the Municipality, its popularity and position within the city boundaries are significant. Proper permits must be obtained for the activity and project execution. The current Woodlawn Cemetery site is vegetated and in the cemetery boundary.
