1. Description: Cleaning service at Embassy of the Republic of Korea to Ottawa 2. Qualification Tenderers must meet the qualifications for participating in competitive tenders as stipulated in Article 12 of the Enforcement Decree of the Act on Contracts to Which the State is a Party and submit necessary tender documents according to the tendering procedure below. Tenderers must hold an official and valid license Tenderers currently undergoing certain legal issues such as liquidation, M&A, selling of company, legal composition, court receivership, etc cannot participate in this tender. 4. Site Survey: To be individually scheduled upon the receipt of registration. (If required) 5. Bidding Result: To be individually informed after Thursday, June 22nd 2023 (this date could be changed according to situations), via email or call 6. Determining a Successful Tenderer nTenderers who presented prices between -2% and +2% of Budget Price (Expected price) shall be examined according to internal assessment standards in the Embassy of Korea. nTenderers who presented price more than 87.995% of the Expected price which will be determined later, AND equal to or less than budget price shall be examined. n The examination on qualification of tenderers will be based on competency, such as past performance, credit rating. n In the event a successful tenderer fails to meet the qualification standard before signing the contract, or decides to forfeit the contract, a tenderer which scored the next highest grade may be granted the contract pending examination. 7. Construction Budget and Determining a Successful Tenderer n Budget Price (one-year): CAD($) 48,020 (Incl. Tax) nAccording to the Korean Contracts Code, Expected price should be calculated between -2% and +2% of Budget Price, and Tenderers who presented price equal to or more than 87.995% of the Expected price shall be examined. The examination on qualification of tenderers will be based on Evaluation Criteria: price competency, previous performance and credit rating. The qualified tenderer, who could earn a total score of 85 or higher (Evaluation Criteria), shall be chosen as the winning construction company. If more than two tenderers would earn 85, the tenderer who suggests the lowest bidding price would be the winning construction company. nIn the event a successful tenderer fails to meet the qualification standard before signing the contract, or decides to forfeit the contract, a tenderer which scored the next highest grade may be granted the contract pending examination. 8. Contract Schedule: Contract Signing: Within 7 days from the result announcement If a successful bidder does not sign the contract, a tender bond of 5% of the budget price must be paid to the Embassy according to Articles 37 and 38 of the aforementioned Enforcement Decree.
