The City of Pleasant Hill, Missouri is a special charter City located southeast of the Kansas City metropolitan area. The City's population is currently 8,777 according to the 2020 census. The City's budget (all funds combined) totals $15,858,921 for the fiscal year beginning April 1, 2023 and ending March 31, 2024. The City of Pleasant Hill is requesting qualifications from multi-disciplined engineering, architect, or design consulting firms to provide the city guidance in taking the projects based on the planning of the elected body and commissions, citizen input, and the most recent comprehensive master plan to facilitate the design, conceptual drawings, and cost estimates to place a proposed bond issue to the voters of Pleasant Hill. These services relating, but not limited to: 1. Redesign and Renovation of the existing Police Station facility including ADA compliance 2. Renovations of the Animal Shelter 3. Park System Improvements (new and reconfiguration of existing facilities and land) 4. Other facilities improvements to improve services and quality of life within city spaces All consultants responding to this RFQ shall provide sufficient information and data to fully allow a complete evaluation of their qualifications. Consultant must present satisfactory evidence to the City indicating their ability to meet the scope of work within a prompt timeframe. The contract derived from this RFQ or any part may be terminated by either party by giving thirty (30) days advance written notice to the other party; but if any work or service there-under is in progress, but not completed as of the date of termination, the said contract may be extended upon written approval of the City until said work or services are completed and accepted. Availability: A statement on the availability and commitment of the respondent to undertake the scope of services. *Final Conceptual Plans and cost estimates will need to be presented to the City Council by November 1, 2023.
