As of August 11, 2023, project was awarded to multiple contractors, Allegheny City Electric, Inc. with $933,500.00, East End Plumbing & Mechanical, Inc. with $457,900.00, FMS Construction with $5,176,361.00, K&K Mechanical Services, Inc. with $948,825.00. Total awarded amount is $7,516,586.00. The Cranberry Township Board of Supervisors, Butler County will receive separate sealed proposals for the Municipal Center Building Renovation project, 2525 Rochester Road, Cranberry Twp, PA, under multiple Prime Contracts: General Construction (GC), HVAC Construction (HC), Plumbing & Fire Protection Construction (PC) and Electrical Construction (EC). The project consists of Additions and Alternates to the existing Municipal Center. The additions include additional administrative office space as well as a new council chambers. The main areas being renovated are the existing administrative offices, council chambers, community rooms, interior facades, exterior facades, common spaces, etc. This project is being partially funded by a RACP Grant and will require following the RACP guidelines per the specifications. Each bid must be accompanied by a proposal guaranty (certified check or bid bond), in the amount of ten percent of the base bid payable to Cranberry Township; and by a Certificate of Compliance with PA Steel Products Act, Contractors Qualification Statement, Non-Collusion Affidavit and Public Works Employment Verification Form. All bids shall remain irrevocable for 60 days after the actual date of the opening. Project is subject to applicable provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act, of August 15, 1961, P.L. 987, as amended and supplemented. The Board of Supervisors reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any defects or irregularities in the best interest of the Township.
