Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Torrington, Connecticut. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The project work is comprised of furnishing all equipment, labor, material, plant, and superintendence to perform all work necessary for the removal, reconfiguration, and paving of the existing pavement, replace existing catch basins, reset catch basin and manhole tops, repair existing driveway aprons, traffic markings & signs, tree & lawn restoration, and associated miscellaneous work. A bid bond, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid shall accompany each bid with a performance bond and a labor & materials bond. A non-collusion statement for Prime Contractors and any addendum acknowledgement must also be submitted at the time of the bid. The City of Torrington reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive technicalities, or to award the contract to a bidder other than the lowest bid, and to award the contract as it feels will best serve the public interest.
