Site work and renovation of a playground / park / athletic field in Torrington, Connecticut. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; and for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field.
The Torrington Board of Education reserves the right to amend or terminate this Request for Proposal, accept all or any part of the proposal, reject all proposals, waive any informalities or non-material deficiencies in a proposal, and award the proposal to the proposer(s) that, in the Board's judgment, will be in the Board's best interest. Contractor shall perform the following procedures in the construction of a new 5-12 play area at Vogel-Wetmore School, in Torrington, CT 06790: 1. Supply playscape for area approximately 36' x 37' Similar to below. 2. Shipping & Handling 3. Site preparation and excavation of new area, 36'x37' approximately. a. Labor and Machinery. b. Disposal/Trucking of removed earth materials. 4. Installation of 5-12 playground equipment by trained and CPSI/NPCAI/OSHA certified installers. 5. Concrete for equipment footings. 6. Supply and install necessary certified wood fiber safety surfacing and (1) layer of filter fabric. a. Surfacing Materials. b. Geotextile Filter Fabric c. Installation of surfacing and fabric with the necessary manpower and machinery.
