The Board of Education, Gadsden Independent School District, is requesting competitive sealed proposals for the construction of Vado Elementary School Re-Roof. The Gadsden Independent School District reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and/or cancel this RFP in its entirety. Deadline for Questions 4:00 pm, 06/27/2023 Substantial Completion shall be achieved not later than 110 calendar days General Building (B) Cost: $455,812.00 This project includes the removal of the existing TPO roofing system down to the existing roof decking and the installation of a new 80 mil. TPO roof membrane system over the existing roof decking at Vado Elementary School, located at 330 Holguin Road, Vado, NM 88072. The total roof area of the facility is approximately 17,010 S.F. The existing roof assemblies identified in the as-built drawings are comprised of an Ethylene Propylene (EP) roof on 5/8 thick Type X gypsum recovery board over 1 Rigid Insulation over 1-1/2 structural metal deck. R-30 Batt Insulation is below the roof deck throughout the areas of work. The proposed scope of work includes the following: Tear off of existing roofing system down to the existing metal decking and the installation of a new 80 mi. single-ply TPO roof membrane system with new 1/2 recover board over new 1-1/2 polyisocyanurate insulation board over the existing metal decking (17,009 SF approximate roof area).
