The City of Laconia seeks proposals from qualified vendors capable of providing gym floor refinishing services, in accordance with the General Specifications section of this proposal request, at the Laconia Community Center. The City of Laconia reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all proposals or any part thereof, to waive any formality in the process, and to accept the proposal considered to be in the best interest of the City. Failure to submit all information called for may be sufficient grounds for disqualification. The City of Laconia reserves the right to cancel this request at any time for any reason. The gym floor at the Laconia Community Center, installed in 2014, is in need of refinishing. The City is looking to have the services performed in a time period shortly after July 25th and is seeking proposals for the services in accordance with the General Specifications listed below. Laconia Community Center, 306 Union Avenue, Laconia, NH 03246. Interested firms are encouraged to perform site inspections prior to proposal submission. Firms may independently perform such inspections during regular business hours. Firms that desire a City representative to attend their site inspections should coordinate a date and time with Matt Mansur, Assistant Recreation and Facilities Director of Parks and Recreation (contact information next page). 1. A description of the firm and its related experience on similar projects. Include appropriate summaries of projects as well as names and telephone numbers of references that may be contacted. Proposals must include a minimum of three (3) references from customers who have contracted similar services. 2. A complete description of the refinishing services approach including proposed materials, schedule, and warranty. Please include relevant options that you believe should be considered. 3. Cost proposal inclusive of all labor, supervision, materials, tools, and equipment, etc. to provide all the services required.
