Reference number : 1735239 Deadline for receipt of complaints: 2023-06-27 Submission sent electronically accepted: Yes, in a single submission document The City of Cote Saint-Luc ("City") wishes to provide an excellent snow removal service to its residents. To ensure the continuity of best practices in this area, the City wants to hire, on an external and independent basis, one or more competent and reliable contractor(s) to carry out this work on an ongoing basis and as required. by the City, according to the rules of the art, in accordance with the law, best practices, as well as the documents of this tender. The chosen contractor(s) must have expertise in the field of snow removal, state-of-the-art and well-maintained equipment and a well-trained and managed workforce. They must be reliable, dedicated and available immediately upon request from the City. CONTRACT CATEGORIES: CATEGORY 1: MAJOR ARTERIES - see Appendix A - Snow removal map and Appendix B - Length of main arteries NB: Category 1 includes the Sidewalks located under the City's 3 viaducts: Westminster, Cote Saint-Luc and Cavendish. The width of the sidewalks under the viaducts is 1.2 meters (48 inches) . The Contractor must ensure that he has the equipment required to access and clean these Sidewalks. CATEGORY 2: SECONDARY ARTERIES - see Appendix A - Snow removal map and Appendix D - Length of secondary arteries CATEGORY 3: TERTIARY SECTOR (cul-de-sacs, sidewalks, public parking areas, alleys, partial streets, evacuation routes, and any other way and public space that is not already included in categories 1 and 2 (except the sectors made internally by the City and the parks) - see Appendix A - Snow removal map and Appendix F - List of locations included in the tertiary sector Bidders may, at their option, bid on one or more of the categories of the call for tenders. However, bidders must bid for the entire Contract Period (the initial term, plus the option years) for each category on which they bid, failing which their bids will be automatically rejected. Prices submitted for each category must remain firm and in effect for the entire Contract Period.
