Site work for a water / sewer project in Brownstown TWP, Michigan. Working plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
**As of August 18, 2023, bids were canceled. No definite date for the rebid.** This report presents the results of the geotechnical evaluation performed by SME for the Brownstown Township Water Tanks in Brownstown Township, Wayne County, Michigan. We performed this evaluation in general accordance with the scope of services outlined in SME Proposal No. P00537.23 dated February 16, 2023, except we were informed the ground tank has been removed from our scope of services for engineering recommendations. The borings for the ground tank had been already completed when we were notified of this change. Therefore, the boring logs are included in Appendix A of this report but engineering recommendations are not included. Our services for this evaluation were authorized by Wade Trim. To assist with our evaluation and the preparation of this report, LaFontaine Automotive Group provided SME with drawings titled NW Water Storage Proposed Site Plan 2 (Sheet No. 14) and SE Water Storage Proposed Site Plan (Sheet No. 16), plotted on February 6, 2023 and prepared by Wade Trim. Those plans include a depiction of existing site features and the proposed improvements. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
