Appleton Corporation acting on behalf of the State of Connecticut Department of Transportation, Department of Rail, through a Facility Management Agreement is requesting proposals for exterior painting services from qualified entities. For reference, Appleton Corporation will hereinafter be referred to as "the Facility Manager'; the Shore Line East Railroad Stations will hereinafter be referred to as "the Properties; and the entity proposing to provide snow and ice management services will hereinafter be referred to as "Contractor". The Term of the contract shall be from the Commencement Date of approximately August 1, 2023 and continue to October 31, 2023 (the Initial Term). All work contemplated under this RFP shall be completed in this time period.The actual beginning and ending dates may vary depending upon weather conditions. The Facility Manager retains the right to cancel this Request for Proposal at any time prior to the execution and approval of an Agreement. If this Request for Proposal is canceled, all proposals received in response to this Request for Proposal will be rejected. Question Deadline 06/26/2023 at 5:00 PM ET Contractor may submit written questions to the Facility Manager. All inquiries must be emailed to the Facility Manager at kregan@oconnells.com. There shall be no direct or indirect contact with the State; all correspondence must be through Appleton Corporation. Written inquiries received after the deadline for receipt of written inquiries will not be considered. Questions and responses thereto will be sent via Addendum to those Contractors that attended the mandatory pre-bid conference.
