OAKLAND TOWNSHIP PARKS AND RECREATION RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REJECT ANY AND ALL PROPOSALS. Any deviation from the specifications must be noted on the proposal.The Charter Township of Oakland Parks and Recreation Commission (OTPR) is seeking itemized bids to conduct invasive shrub control in and adjacent to priority wetland areas at Draper Twin Lake Park. The project site includes natural areas with rolling terrain along the margins of wetlands and extending into adjacent uplands. Sites have patchy to thick infestations of non-native invasive woody plants, including autumn olive, common buckthorn, glossy buckthorn, invasive honeysuckle, and oriental bittersweet. The purpose of this solicitation is to identify a contractor who will work in a professional manner to complete invasive shrub control at Draper Twin Lake Park. Work may begin by July 17, 2023 and must be completed by November 22, 2023. The contractor will cut invasive shrubs, treat stumps, and stack brush into piles. Project boundaries will be marked by Oakland Township Parks and Recreation staff before work begins.
