The City of Largo's Advanced Wastewater Reclamation Facility (AWWRF) is located in Pinellas County at 4050 150th Ave N, Clearwater, Florida 33760. The AWWRF currently discharges its effluent through a permitted surface water discharge into a series of ponds located in the Feather Sound golf course community and through a permitted public access reclaimed water distribution system. Florida Senate Bill 64 and Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) rules result in the need to implement an injection well to reduce direct discharge into surface waters. This pre-design report (PDR) provides the basis of design for the design of two UICs, the design of single zone monitoring wells (MW), one for each UIC, along with the design of the necessary surface facility improvements needed in support of the addition of these UICs and MWs. The design scope of work covered in this PDR includes:
