Demolition, stumping, slash removal, clearing, grubbing & erosion, sedimentation and pollution control on portions of an existing undeveloped +-72.28-acre site, and other items indicated in these Contract Documents. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis with alternate bid items, if any, as indicated in the Bid Form. The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: Still Waters Engineering, 130 Veterinary Way - Unit 2, Leesburg, GA 31763. Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8:00 AM - 5:00 P.M and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below. Bidding Documents also may be examined at the Waycross-Ware County Development Authority; during the Authority's regular business hours The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the prospective Bidder's date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. All permits required for the construction of this project are expected to be approved prior to the date of the bid opening. Acquisition of property for permanent easements and/or right of way is not expected to be required for this project. This project is expected to be funded all or in part by a OneGeorgia Equity Fund grant and Waycross-Ware County Development Authority funding. The construction contract will be subject to all applicable requirements of the respective funding agencies.
