Renovation of a transportation facility in Buffalo, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility.

Work shall include, but not be limited to the following work in the vicinity of The Portal and Allen - Medical Campus station between stationing 1097+65 and 51+56 on the inbound track (Track 1) and between Stationing 1097+65 and 622+32 on the outbound track (Track 2): *Remove existing Direct Fixation Rail Fastener (DFF) assemblies. Install new NFTA-supplied DFF assemblies in place of removed DFF assemblies. Installation of new DFF assemblies will require installation of new anchor inserts and anchor bolts. NFTA will supply the anchor inserts. The Contractor shall core holes and install anchor inserts using approved epoxy grout. The Contractor shall install anchor bolts. *Remove existing portal floating slabs. Installing new portal floating slabs. The new precast floating slabs will include installation of existing rubber supports, cast in place concrete and rail. *Repair concrete located in the tunnel invert as approved by the Engineer. *Remove Girder Rail and 115RE Rail and replace with 115RE rail where indicated including installation of insulated joints, joint bars, and welding of joints. *Apply penetrating type concrete sealer as directed The NFTA reserves the right to waive irregularities, to reject any or all bids and to extend the bidding period The percentage goal of Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) participation in the project shall be 17%.
