Renovation of a transportation facility in Buffalo, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility.

The work shall consist of Maintenance and Rehabilitation of Pavements, Utility Improvements, Turf Restoration, and Site Amenity Improvements at the following NFTA Project Sites: Niagara Falls Transportation Center (NFTC), Abbott-Bailey Loop, Blackrock Riverside Hub, Delavan-Canisius Station, Orchard Loop, Vulcan Loop, Michael Loop, and Clinton Fernwood Loop. Roadway, Parking Lot, and Sidewalk Improvements: asphalt pavement full depth removal and replacement, concrete sidewalk/pavement full depth removal and replacement, asphalt mill and overlay, asphalt nonstructural overlay, asphalt patch and repair, asphalt crack seal, concrete curb removal and replacement, and pavement markings. Utility Improvements: Modifications to, and removal and replacement of existing utility manholes/catch basins. Turf Restoration: Reconstruct and restore all turf areas disturbed by site work construction as specified. Site Amenity Improvements: Removal and replacement of existing traffic bollards. The NFTA reserves the right to waive irregularities, to reject any or all bids and to extend the bidding period. Bid security must accompany each bid and must be in an amount not less than ten percent of the total bid price if the base bid exceeds $50,000.00. In the event a bidder utilizes an offline bid but provides bid security electronically the electronic bid bond number must be submitted with the offline bid. The Contractor shall perform not less than 50% of the Work with its own forces. The time of completion for the project is as stated in Specification Section 011100 Summary of Work after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. Liquidated damages as stated in Specification Section 011100 Summary of Work will be assessed against the Contractor for its failure to complete the project within the time specified. The MWBE (Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprises) and SDVOB (Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Business) Goals are as follows: MBE 15%, WBE 15% and SDVOB 6%. Contract term: 90 Days
