This project will include bridge maintenance activities, consisting of bridge washing, deck overlays, deck sealing and replacing joint seals. On or after June 16, 2023, the Contract Documents, consisting of the Advertisement for Bids, Information to Bidders, Bid Agreement, General Conditions, Supplementary Conditions, Bonds, Drawings, Specifications and Addenda may be examined between the hours of 7:00am and 2:30pm at Tioga County Department of Public Works, 477 State Route 96, Owego, NY 13827. Project is a 60 calendar day contract, after notice to proceed is issued. Contract Documents will not be mailed until payment is received by the County. Only those who have purchased Contract Documents will be provided amendments via e-mail or fax. Bids must be made in writing on the forms furnished and shall be accompanied by a bid guaranty for an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The Bidder to whom the Contract is awarded will be required to furnish Performance and Payment Bonds from an acceptable Surety Company for an amount not less than 100% of the accepted bid.
