Site work and renovation of a civil project in Delta Charter Township, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work will be separated into two divisions for this contract for tracking purposes. Division A work consists of the construction of a 720,000-gallon equalization basin generally consisting of the following items: influent structure and channel grinder, equalization basin storage tanks, washdown tanks and improvements at the existing Delta Township GM pump station generally consisting of the following items: addition of influent sampling, ductile iron pipe modifications and installation of two (2) Owner-Procured Raw Sewage Pumps. Additionally, ancillary forcemain, valves, effluent flow metering, electrical and controls improvements, bypass pumping, selective demolition, dewatering and temporary earth retention system, and miscellaneous site improvements related to the described work and as shown on the drawings. Division B will consist of improvements to the GM Water Booster Station including removal of two low-capacity pumps, addition of one high service pump and one hydropneumatics tank, replacement of the existing onsite generator, and associated valve, piping, and electrical upgrades. The Work also includes four off-site check valve installations and three gate valve replacements.
