Conceptual plans call for the addition of a bridge / tunnel; for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.

Bridge rehabilitation including superstructure replacement, hot mix asphalt full-depth widening, cold milling and resurfacing, concrete sidewalk, curb and gutter and pavement markings on Webster Road over the Grand River, Eaton County. This is a Local Agency project. Completion Date: 10/2/2026 Required DBE Participation: 4.00% The Eaton County Road Commission was awarded State and Federal funds to rehabilitate and widen the Webster Road bridge over the Grand River (JN 218254) and to construct a pathway approach at each end of the bridge (JN 221198) in Delta Township, Eaton County, Michigan. The project is expected to be let in September 2025. The total estimated cost of construction is $4,800,000. Work will include removing and replacing the superstructure, substructure repairs, riprap scour protection, reconstruction and realignment of the bridge approaches, and constructing a nonmotorized pathway at each end of the bridge. The work will include widening the bridge deck to accommodate the non-motorized pathway. The Road Commission may conduct such investigations and request such additional information from the Consultant(s) as the Road Commission deems necessary to assist in the evaluation of any proposal and to establish the responsibility, qualifications, and ability of the Consultants to furnish services in accordance with this request for proposals and to the Road Commission's satisfaction. The Bidder Understands and Agrees That the Department Reserves the Right to Reject Any and All Bids and No Contractual Relationship Shall Exist Between the Bidder and the Department for the Work Described Herein Until Such Time as the Contract Has Been Formally Executed by Both the Bidder and the Department. The Road Commission reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals as a result of such an evaluation, to negotiate and/or waive any irregularities as it deems to be in its best interest, and to award the contract to the next most qualified Consultant if the most qualified Consultant does not execute a contract after the acceptance of its proposal by the Road Commission within ten (10) days after receipt of the contract document. The Road Commission may award projects individually or may choose to award both projects to one consultant. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
