**GC Bid Deadline : 07/05/2023 @ 10am** Filed Sub-Bids with the required bid deposit will be received for the following classes of work: 090001 Acoustical Tile 260000 Electrical 210000 Fire Protection Sprinkler Systems 230000 HVAC 040001 Masonry 080001 Metal Windows 090002 Resilient Floors 070001 Roofing and Flashing The work consists of removal and disposal of an existing modular classroom building, connector building, and associated foundations at the Mountain View Elementary School in East Longmeadow, MA. Selective demolition and abatement of a portion of the adjacent school building will also be required. The work also includes construction of a new 2,112 square foot addition containing two classrooms and support space to replace the existing modular classroom building. New construction work will also include site work and site utilities relative to the demolition and new construction of the replacement classroom building. In accordance with Section 44D of Chapter 149 of the General Laws of Massachusetts as amended, the prospective General Bidders must submit with their Bid, a certificate of eligibility issued by the Division of Capital Asset Management (DCAMM), showing that the Bidder has been approved to bid on projects of the size and nature as advertised herein. Prospective General Bidders must also submit an updated statement summarizing their record for the period between the latest DCAMM certificate and the date of the Bid submittal. The DCAMM certificate of eligibility to be submitted by the Filed Sub-Bidders shall be for the category of work for which they are submitting a Bid Performance and Payment Bonds, in the full amount of the Contract price, will be required of the Successful Bidder. Minimum Wage Rates as determined by the Commissioner of Department of Workforce Development under the provision of the Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 149, Section 26 to 27D, as amended, and Davis Bacon Federal Wage Rates apply to this project. It is the responsibility of the Contractor, before Bid opening, to request if necessary, any additional information on Minimum Wage Rates for those trades people who may be employed for the proposed Work under this Contract. Questions must be submitted in writing, and should be emailed to Christine Alson at Tecton Architects christinea@tectonpc.com on or before 5:00 P.M. local time on Wednesday, June 21, 2023. All questions will be responded to via addendum. All addenda will be distributed electronically to all bidders who have requested documents, and the final addendum will be distributed on or before 10:00 A.M. local time on Friday, June 23, 2023. Due to the limited scope of work to be performed, a pre-bid conference will not be held. Owner reserves the right to waive any informality in, or to reject any or all Bids, or to accept any Bid which in their opinion, is in the public interest to do so.
