WORK DESCRIPTION This street project consists of reconstructing and repairing damaged street pavement, sidewalk, curb ramps, curbs and gutters, installation of bus pads, bus islands, and raised bike lanes. The project will also include vision zero and green elements, such as curb extensions, new traffic signals, traffic signal upgrades with protected left turns, tree replanting, bioswales (parkway swales) and dry wells. CONTRACTOR'S LICENSE CLASSIFICATION At the time of bid, the contractor must possess a valid State of California Contractor's License Classification of "A". This project is subject to the provisions of the Department of Public Works Project Labor Agreement in Part IV of the Bid Proposal. LIQUIDATED DAMAGES $6,000 per Calendar Day COMPLETION TIME 730 Calendar Days
