The Allendale Brook Interceptor Rehabilitation - Contract No. 1157 Project generally consists of manhole rehabilitation of approximately 30 existing manholes, as well as all other Work of any type or description necessary for contemplation of the Project, whether or not specifically described in these Contract Documents. All Work on this Contract shall be completed within 90 Calendar Days from Notice to Proceed. Questions Due Date:Jun 30th 2023, 4:00 PM EDT All questions, regarding, clarifications, omissions, discrepancies or otherwise, shall be submitted in writing to the Engineer and shall be received at least ten (10) days (weekends and holidays excepted) before the established date for bid opening Bidders shall submit with the bid an electronic bid bond or electronic copy of a bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total price bid, but not in excess of $20,000.00, payable unconditionally to the Northwest Bergen County Utilities Authority, along with a Certificate (Consent of Surety) with Power of Attorney for the full amount of the bid price from a Surety Company authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey and said Surety will furnish a consolidated Performance and Payment Bond in amounts of 100% of the successful Bidders contract The Owner expressly reserves the right to reject all Bid Packets in accordance with N.J.S.A. 40A:11- 13.2, or to waive any minor informality or non-material exception in the Bid Packets in accordance with applicable law.
