Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Wharton, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
Demolition and preparation, construct 851 square yards of sidewalk, 338 square yards of driveways with sidewalks and 412 feet of 6" curb and gutter. Construct ADA compliant ramps with detectible truncated domes. Adjust utilities as shown in plans to accommodate sidewalks. Preserve historic structures during construction. There are three alternate bid sections. A CERTIFIED OR CASHIER'S CHECK or an acceptable bid bond in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid shall accompany each bid as a guaranty that, if awarded the contract, the bidder will promptly enter into contract with the City of Wharton and furnish bonds on the forms provided. The City of Wharton reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informality in the bids.
