WORK DESCRIPTION The project is located at the City of Bradenton's Wastewater Treatment Facility (WWTF) at 1810 1st Street West, Bradenton, Florida 34205. The awarded Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, appurtenances, equipment, tools, transportation, services and incidentals to provide construction and testing of the City of Bradenton's Aquifer Recharge Well system. The work includes one (1) 16-inch or 24-inch diameter recharge well with a final steel casing depth of between 900 feet and 1400 feet, and a total depth of 1600 feet; a deep zone monitoring well with 8-inch steel casing to 900 feet and total depth of 1100 feet; and an optional shallow monitoring well with 8-inch steel casing installed to 600 feet and a total depth of 650 feet. All work shall be completed i accordance with the construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents. This project will be funded under the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) a State Revolving Fund (SRF) program and specific requirements under this program are included in the FDEP Supplemental Conditions (Appendix B). This project requires compliance with the American Iron and Steel Provision as described in the FDEP Supplemental Conditions (Appendix B). This project has a waiver from the Build America, Buy America Act (BABA Act), and is therefore not required to be compliant with the provisions of the BABA Act. The construction of this project is pending approval of FDEP SRF funding. A contract will not be executed until the August 2023 SRF funding is confirmed as available to the City for this project.
