As of January 12, 2026, this project is under construction. *Previous solicitation listed below for reference:* The School District of Manatee County is accepting statements of qualifications from firms for complete Engineering Services for Palma Sola Elementary Campus Renovation and Partial Replacement: Campus Renovation and Partial Replacement of existing campus to include: Remove and replace existing Administration and Classroom Buildings 1 - 16;Renovate existing Classroom Building 18;Complete associated site improvements and infrastructure work to support campus renewal. Campus will be constructed to accommodate 508 student stations with core facilities for 596 student stations. The project will be on an occupied campus and phased in a manner to insure staff safety. The total project budget is estimated at $29,000,000.00. Construction budget is $23,500,000 at 81% of the total. The applicant must be certified to perform work in the State of Florida at the time of application. Further, if a corporation, the applicant must be registered by the Department of State, Division of Corporations, to operate in the State of Florida at the time of the application. The selection will be made in accordance with the current State Requirements for Educational Facilities (SREF), as may be amended, Florida Statute 287.055, and the School District of Manatee County's procedures and criteria. Firms interested in being considered for this project must submit an application following the Purchasing Department Selection Process.
