This is only a Pre-Solicitation announcement for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Network Contracting Office (NCO) 8 will be issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) for project titled 548-23-147 Reconfigure 3rd Level Parking Stalls for America Disability Act (ADA) Compliance, located at the West Palm Beach Veterans Affairs Medical Center. This project focuses on resurfacing and restriping 24 standard parking stalls immediately adjacent to the Emergency Department and converting the stalls into 12 ADA parking stalls and designated travel areas. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, and the small business size standard is $45M. The Request for Proposal will be a total Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business set-aside. A Request for Proposal will be issued on the SAM.gov website on or about July 20, 2023, for construction project number 548-23-147 Reconfigure 3rd Level Parking Stalls for ADA Compliance. In accordance with FAR 36.204 Disclosure of the Magnitude of Construction Projects, the magnitude of this construction project is between $250,000 and $500,000. The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Contract within 120 days from proposal receipt date.
