The City of Granbury is soliciting sealed proposals from qualified vendors for an Exterior Siding and trim Repair Work for various city buildings. Any proposals received after the closing date and hour will not be accepted and will be returned. The City reserves the right to reject any and/or all proposals. Specific information regarding this Bid shall be requested from Christy Russell, Purchasing Manager, at 817-570-7030 or crussell@granbury.org. DEADLINE FOR QUESTIONS: June 29, 2023 1. At locations identified by the City of Granbury staff, remove deteriorated siding and/or trim if repairs cannot be made. Remove vapor barrier beneath exterior surface if it is compromised. Advise if any additional structural work is necessary/recommended. 2. At areas of work install new backing if original was removed, and install new siding and/or trim if original not repairable - along with necessary flashing - to insure proper reconstruction of building envelope. 3. All new siding, trim and flashing should match existing that was removed. All necessary caulking will be completed before painting. Paint to match existing. 4.2. Langdon Center 308 E. Pearl St. Gordon House o Replace trim on all front column bases. o Repair windows as needed ,excluding glass. o Repair rotted fascia board. o Remove all failed window glazing and reseal. o Cut out and rebuild rotted threshold and trim on windows and doors. o Seal exterior of walls where siding meets chimney. o Replace damaged siding. o Replace 1x2 drip edge as needed. o Pressure wash exterior of house. o Prep, caulk, prime and paint exterior of house with like colors. o Prep prime and paint exterior gutters.
