As of September 8, 2023, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. The purpose of the project is to install approximately 2,550 linear feet of new 8-inch and 12-inch C.L.D.I. water main including appropriate appurtenances, valving, and fire hydrants to serve the proposed Seasons at East Northport development in Greenlawn, New York. The new water main will connect to the existing 12-inch water main off of Daly Road and on Doyle Court and in the Town of Huntington, Suffolk County New York. Two (2) new 2-inch domestic copper water services will be installed. The project is located within the boundaries of the Greenlawn Water District. Each proposal submitted must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond, made payable to the Greenlawn Water District, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid, as a commitment by the bidder that, if its bid is accepted, it will enter into a contract to perform the work and will execute such further security as may be required for the faithful performance of the contract. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any informalities and to accept such bid which, in the opinion of the Owner, is in the best interests of the Owner.
