The project scope includes a partial re-roof of Graves County High School. Base Bid includes demo and prep of existing roof system for new 2-ply SBS roofing on top. No additional insulation will be added. New edge metals, gutters and downspouts to be provided as shown for each roof area. New metal roofing, metal wall panels and light fixtures will be replaced at entrances. Suspended metal canopies will be replaced as well. Contractor shall update exterior building mounted lighting and controls. Lighting shall be a mixture of building mounted wall packs, can lights, sign lighting, and emergency/egress lighting. The last date for the Architect to receive items to be addressed in any addenda is July 5, 2023 by 12:00 p.m. EDT. All requests must be submitted to the Architect in writing. The Owner reserves the right to accept any bid, to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities in bids received where such acceptance, rejection, or waiver is considered to be in the best interest of the Owner or to reject any bid where evidence or information submitted by the bidder does not satisfy the Owner that the bidder is qualified to carry out the details of the Contract Documents. The Owner's desire to waive irregularities and informalities as to a bid shall be reviewed and final judgement made by the Kentucky Department of Education, Division of Facilities Management, prior to approval of the contract and financing plan.
