Mayfield Electric & Water Systems (Owner) Will Receive Proposals Through Codell Construction Company (Construction Manager as Contractor) to Furnish All Labor and Materials to Complete the Following Buildings: Water District Warehouse (200) - Compressor Drive, Internet Warehouse (300) - Beech Street, Electric Service Warehouse (400a and 400b) - South 16th Street, Water Lab Building (500) - South 12th Street, Centrifuge Building (600a) - 1100 East Houseman, Sewer Services Building (600b) - 1100 East Houseman, Belt Press Building (600c) - 1100 East Houseman Located in Mayfield, Ky 42066. Work is to Be Performed in Accordance With Plans, Specifications, and Addenda Prepared by Jks Architects (Architect), Marcum Engineering (M/e Engineer), K&s Engineering (Structural Engineer) Each bid must be accompanied by a 5% Bid Bond. The bid will be submitted in duplicate on copies of the Form of Proposal located in the Volume One Project Manual Bidding and Contract Documents. Both copies of the Form of Proposal and Bid Bond shall be placed in a manila envelope and have the Project Name and Proposed Bid Package number affixed. No Bidder may withdraw a bid submitted for a period of sixty (60) days after the date set for the opening of bids. Document Acquisition: Made payable to Paducah Blueprint Electronic Copy: Electronic copies are available for $100.00 Non Refundable made payable to Paducah Blueprint. All questions regarding this project must be submitted via e-mail to the Construction Manager (cmiller@codellconstruction.com). The deadline for questions is the close of business August 7, 2023. The Project Schedule will be issued via addendum. The contract will include liquidated damages assessed at $1,000.00/day if the completion date is not met. Successful Bidders are required to furnish a 100% Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bond for this Project. Mayfield Electric & Water Systems and Codell Construction Company reserve the right to reject any or all bids and to waive all informalities and/or technicalities where the best interest can be served. Bids shall be awarded based upon Best Value Criteria included in Section 00200 of the bidding documents. Contracts shall be awarded to the responsive and responsible bidders. Contracts shall be executed between the bidder and Codell Construction Company, the Construction Manager As Contractor. Bids from Small Business Enterprises (SBE, MBE, WBE, VOSB, Etc.) are encouraged and supported.
