Number: N/A This project, located in Anne Arundel County, is for the reconstruction of a portion of an existing hiker/biker trail along MD 175 (Annapolis Road). The project begins just West of the intersection of MD 175 and Piedmont Lane and extends in an Easterly direction to 26th Street for a total distance of approximately 0.50 miles. The work will consist of the following: (a) Replacing deteriorated sections of the existing asphalt hiker/biker trail. (b) Replacing existing driveway entrances and adjacent curb to meet current Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements. Pre-Bid Conference: A Pre Bid Conference will not be held for this project. Minimum wage rates for each Project, if applicable, have been pre-determined by law and are set forth in the Invitation for Bids (IFB). Bids must only be made upon the latest electronic proposal forms (and attachments) that are furnished by the Administration. In accordance with State Finance and Procurement Title 13 of the Annotated Code of Maryland, no bid, performance or payment bonds are required for bids less than $100,000.00. However, bids $100,000.00 and above will not be considered unless a Bid Security is submitted as outlined in the Invitation for Bids. Bid Security shall equal at least five percent (5%) of the total amount bid.
