This project consists of installing new traffic curb and gutter, replacing the HMA pavement, and constructing sidewalks and sidewalk ramps along both sides of 48th Avenue SW at the cross street of 216th Street SW. The construction additionally includes minor stormwater facility improvements, solar pedestrian-actuated rectangular rapid flashing beacon pedestals, solar vehicle speed radar sign pedestals, water main, and other work, all in accordance with the attached drawings, these Contract Provisions, and the Standard Specifications. $1,000,000 - $1,200,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. The 216th St. SW and 48th Ave. W SRTS (Safe Routes to School) project consists of installing new traffic curb and gutter, sidewalks and sidewalk ramps along both sides of 48th Avenue SW at the cross street of 216th Street SW. The construction includes approximately 700 linear feet of cement concrete curb and gutter, 450 square yards of sidewalk including 8 sidewalk ramps, minor stormwater facility improvements, solar pedestrian-actuated rectangular rapid flashing beacon pedestals, solar vehicle speed radar sign pedestals, 100 linear feet of water main, and other work, all in accordance with the attached Contract Plans, these Contract Provisions, and the 2024 WSDOT/APWA Standard Specifications for Road, Bridge, and Municipal Construction.
