RFP - On-Call Engineering and Environmental Services Last day to submit questions regarding the RFP 3:00 p.m. May 10, 2024. The scope of services is as-needed/on-call based services to support the City of Mountlake Terrace's engineering demands. The city requires specialized civil engineering and environmental services in support of capital improvement projects. Pursuant to RCW 39.80, the City of Mountlake Terrace is soliciting interest from consulting firms under this Request for Proposals (RFP) for as-needed/on-call engineering and environmental services to support municipal capital improvement projects. The City intends to execute agreements with one or more firms. After negotiations, the successful consultant(s) will enter into a Local Agency A&E Professional Services Consultant Agreement, contained in the Local Agency Guidelines published by the Washington State Department of Transportation, for an initial term ending December 31, 2025. The maximum total compensation payable to the consultant for services authorized under any agreement will not exceed $1,000,000 for the duration of these agreements, unless modified by a supplemental agreement; however, there is no guarantee that all funds will be expended. This RFP does not commit the City to award a contract, to pay any costs incurred in the preparation of a proposal for this request, or to procure or contract for services. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all submittals received as a result of this request, to negotiate with any qualified firm, or to modify or cancel in part or in its entirety this RFP if it is in the best interest of the City to do so.
