Site work and paving for a road / highway in Leavenworth, Washington. Design plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Phase 2A includes improvements to 56th Avenue W from 236th Street SW to north of 230th Street SW. It will reconstruct the existing deteriorating roadway pavement to allow two travel lanes, bike lanes, and a center turn lane. Other work includes: replace curb and gutter, construct sidewalks with tree wells, LED pedestrian and street lighting, upgrade storm drainage, upgrade curb ramps to current ADA guidelines, underground overhead utilities, and modify/upgrade traffic signals including installation of optical fiber and connection to the City of Lynnwood's Traffic Control Center. This project is included in the City of Mountlake Terrace's FY 2023-2028 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). As of May 2, 2024, information regarding a design team and a general contractor is not available. Construction is scheduled for April through December of 2025* *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
