Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Iowa City, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
Soil quality restoration and overseeding of the parkways along Dubuque Street and McCollister Boulevard. Treatment of parkways along Dubuque Street and McCollister Boulevard for two full seasons is included. Seeding of designated areas of the Iowa City Landfill and Recycling Center is included. The following limitations shall apply to this Project: Specified Start Date: 14 August 2023 Substantial Completion Date: 31 October 2025 Final Completion Date: 1 December 2025 Liquidated Damages: $100 per day The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance, Payment, and Maintenance Bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price and in the form shown in Section 0510, said bond to be issued by a responsible surety approved by the City, and shall guarantee the prompt payment of all materials and labor, and also protect and save harmless the City from all claims and damages of any kind caused directly or indirectly by the operation of the contract, and shall also guarantee the maintenance of the improvement for a period of two (2) year(s) from and after its completion and formal acceptance by the City Council. The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, and also reserves the right to waive technicalities and irregularities.
