This General Service Contract is by and between the City of Nacogdoches, a Texas Home-Rule
Municipal Corporation (the "City"), and Insert Contractor (the "Contractor"), for the following
work: Insert Description of Work as described in the Scope of Services attached as Exhibit "A". Time is of the Essence. The Contractor must complete all the services described in the
Scope of Services by the following dates: Insert Dates.
OR
1.4 Term. The initial term of the Contract is for one (1) year with the option to renew for two
(2) additional one (1) year terms for a total of three (3) years. Any renewal must be in writing
and executed by the parties... Project description:
Repairs to current pews should use as much original material as possible. Replace
any needed part using as much of the original pew as possible as well as make
sure that any new parts match the original look. Materials and colors used should
match existing materials and colors of the existing pews. Contractors will work
with city staff to design the best layout for completed pews. Project also includes
the installation of completed pews into the church including mounting pews to
the floor.
Time and materials should not exceed $49,000.00
Disposal of Demolished Materials:
IF work is to be performed on site:
Promptly dispose of demolished materials. Do not allow demolished
materials to accumulate on-site.
Do not burn demolished materials.
Transport demolished materials off Owner's property and legally dispose of
them.
Pew Scenarios for Bids
1. Restoration of (1) Pew including: Sanding, tightening/replacement of nails or
screws for stability and restained.
